Mars Auguste Husson was the son of Jean Baptiste Husson. He was a bow maker who worked for Vigneron. He was referred to simply as 'Auguste'. Around 1906, he worked for Thibouville-Lamy and C. N. Bazin in Mirecourt. In 1910, he left for Paris to work for A. Vigneron. From approximately 1925, he established himself independently at 3 rue Renault. He seemed to have supplied unbranded bows to Auguste Husson, and his work is often found branded 'A. HUSSON'. His work was largely indistinguishable from and of equal quality to that of A. Vigneron.
