George Nicolas Einsele
Violin maker
(1868 – 1940)
An accomplished American maker, Einsele worked for William Lewis & Son in Chicago from 1912-1914 before setting up in his own in Brunswick, IN in 1915. He made over 750 instruments and favored a Guarneri model. Some instruments bearing his label were made for him in the white by Ferdinando Garimberti in Milan.
