Paolo Fanfani is a contemporary Italian violin maker working in the Cremonese tradition. He graduated from the International School of Violin Making in Cremona in 2003, having studied under Angelo Sperzaga. Fanfani subsequently spent seven years in Sperzaga’s workshop, refining his methods of construction and varnishing and gaining experience in the making of violins, violas and cellos.
