Violin maker

Thomas Jamieson established himself independently in 1833, having been a pupil of Charles Cramond and occupying various addresses in Aberdeen. His work featured decent craftsmanship based on the Cramond model, characterized by full arching, short corners, painted purfling, and hard yellow varnish.
