Violin maker
(c. 1742 – c. 1784)

Francesco Magri was known as `Bischeri' and was a pupil of A. Gragnani. The model he used was a narrow high-arched Stainer-derived type with whalebone purfling. His workmanship was rugged, and he applied a golden-brown varnish. Francesco Magri / Detto Bischeri / Fecit Livorno. Anno 1773.
