Onorato Gragnani
Violin maker
(fl. 1770 – 1799)
Onorato Gragnani was the son and pupil of Antonio Gragnani. His work was very similar to that of his father, though generally heavier and comparatively less refined, with the scroll being crudely finished. Some confusion arose previously as Onorato was the name of both the father and son of Antonio, but surviving instruments confirm that the son was the violinmaker
