This violin belonged to Gerty Beckers, a professional violinist from The Netherlands. She purchased this violin from Max Möller in Amsterdam in 1985. G. Beckers studied under the renowned violinist Tibor Berkovits at the conservatory in Maastricht. She worked with the Limburg Symphony Orchestra, and also played for over twenty years in the professional string quartet "Helikon" in Hasselt, Belgium.
