Branded to the inside back, "S. Zygmuntowicz N. Y." Inscribed to the inner rib, "S. Zygmuntowicz N. Y. 1984 #20."

This violin is being sold by prominent violinist Theodore Arm, who bought it directly from Samuel Zygmuntowicz in 1984 as one of his first customers. Read Stewart Pollens' feature in the November 1987 Strad issue.
