Account Coordinator
Tarisio is seeking a highly motivated person to join us as full-time Account Coordinator in New York City. The Account Coordinator will report to the Director of Operations and will be responsible for working closely with clients to secure consignments and to help sell works at auction.
Location: New York
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the end-to-end consignment process for our New York auctions with a focus on sourcing and maintaining private clients
- Look after a portfolio of private clients and develop client relationships in order to enhance client loyalty and promote business opportunities across all sales channels i.e. auction, private sales, etc.
- Work with the Tarisio team to sell an auction by helping clients during viewings; develop, track and communicate client interest in lots; and assist with bidder registrations
- Assist with email, telephone and walk-in inquiries
- Assist with the production of marketing campaigns and collateral
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum 1-2 years of office work experience, preferably in the classical/performing arts industry with deep knowledge of classical music and ideally some ability to play a bowed stringed instrument
- Musicians preferred
