On Stage at Wigmore Hall

On Stage at Wigmore Hall is a series by Tarisio in partnership with the Wigmore Hall in London.

Tarisio’s founder and expert Jason Price explores the iconic violins, violas and cellos heard each season, bringing their makers, characteristics and history to life through unique content and leading expertise.

This season will include the Renaud Capuçon’s ‘Panette’ Guarneri ‘del Gesù’ of 1737 and the 1715 ‘Marsick’ Stradivari played by Canadian

soloist James Ehnes (also see Jason’s interview with Ehnes about his violin).

Published in the Wigmore Hall concert programmes, Jason’s commentaries will appear alongside the artist’s biography. Here they are collated into a digital exhibition with additional images, provenance, interviews with musicians and links to the instruments in the Cozio archive.
