Head of Workshop

Tarisio New York is looking for an experienced luthier to take on a new role as Head of Workshop.  This position is responsible for overseeing a small team that works with elite musicians on high-value instruments in our expanding workshop.

The workshop focuses on:

• Small to medium-term restorations
• Sound adjustments
• Set-up work
• Repairs and other general shop-related work

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Extensive experience in a similar workshop
• A degree in violin making from a top level school
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to understand the complex needs of professional musicians
• Strong customer service ethics and high expectations for quality
• Time management skills

Salary commensurate with experience.
