Branded to the inside back, to the lower rib and to the inside of the pegbox, "Melegari."
Back: in two pieces of quarter cut maple with broad-width flame descending from the center seam.
Top: in two pieces of spruce with medium-width grain.
Ribs: and head of similar wood.
Varnish: of a dark red-brown color.
Length of back: 35.4 cm
Upper bouts: 16.6 cm
Middle bouts: 10.9 cm
Lower bouts: 20.3 cm
