Back: in two pieces of quarter cut maple with medium to narrow-width flame slightly ascending from the center seam.
Top: in two pieces of pine with grain of varying widths.
Ribs: and head of similar wood. (MH -- upper treble rib replaced?)
Varnish: of a dark orange-brown color.
Length of back: 35.3 cm
Upper bouts: 16.0 cm
Middle bouts: 11.1 cm
Lower bouts: 19.9 cm
