Branded to the inside back, "H. Darche à Bruxelles Alagarenne Bruxelles." Inscribed to the inside top, "H. Darche à Alagarenne Bruxelles 1923."
Back: in two pieces of quarter cut maple with medium to broad-width flame descending from the center seam.
Top: in two pieces of spruce with narrow-width grain broadening towards the edges.
Ribs: and head of similar wood.
Varnish: of a red-brown color.
Length of back: 75.6 cm
Upper bouts: 33.9 cm
Middle bouts: 23.5 cm
Lower bouts: 43.8 cm
