Bearing an original posthumous label of Nicolo Amati with a repair signature of the 18th century Spanish priest and violin maker Vicente Assensio dated 1779.

Original neck adjusted at the heel.

Length of back: 35.3 cm


Notes:

"Vicente Assensio similarly signed the label of the 1719 "Duke of Alba" Stradivari in 1788 and another Amati in 1780."
