Signed to the inside back. Bearing the serial number, "2376." Branded to the top and back, "Vuillaume."
Back: in two pieces of quarter cut maple with narrow flame ascending from the center seam.
Top: in two pieces of spruce with medium width grain broadening toward the edges.
Ribs: and head of similar wood.
Varnish: of an orange-brown color.
Length of back: 75.8 cm
Upper bouts: 34.3 cm
Middle bouts: 23.5 cm
Lower bouts: 43.9 cm
