Branded to the lower ribs and inside. Inscribed to the lower bass bout rib, "Gaetano Pollastri fece in Bologna 1947."
Back: in two pieces of quarter cut maple with medium-width flames descending from the centre.
Top: in two pieces of spruce of fine grain expanding towards the edges.
Scroll: of similar wood to the back.
Ribs: of similar wood to the back.
Varnish: of a reddish orange on a lighter ground.
Length of back: 35.6 cm
Upper bouts: 16.8 cm
Middle bouts: 11.2 cm
Lower bouts: 20.7 cm
