"This instrument presumably remained in the possession of the Bisiach family until 1989, when it was sold by Carlo Bisiach's son to Carlo Vettori. Signor Vettori sold the instrument to the present owner in the same year. The violin was featured in the exhibition Liuteria Italiana in Cafaggiolo, Florence, in 1989.
