- Certificate: John & Arthur Beare, London (2002) CB/A143. ". . .we have examined your violin which bears what appears to be its original label of Luigi Bartolotti of Milan with the date 1825. Although we are unfortunately not familiar with this maker's work until now the violin, in our opinion, is certainly an Italian instrument of that period and we see no reason to doubt that it is indeed Bartolotti's genuine work."
