Back: Two-piece of quarter cut maple marked with a narrow even interlaced curl which descends slightly from the center joint
Top: of fine straight graining growing very broad on the flanks and on either side of the fingerboard
Ribs: of similar though fainter curl
Varnish: Transparent honey brown in color
Length of back: 35.5 cm
Upper bouts: 16.8 cm
Lower bouts: 20.5 cm
