Back: in two pieces of quarter cut maple with medium-width flame descending from the center seam, bearing the painted coat-of-arms of the Sheremetev family.
Top: in two pieces of spruce with broad-width grain broadening toward the edges.
Scroll: of plainer maple.
Ribs: of similar wood.
Varnish: of a golden orange-brown color.
Length of back: 41.2 cm
Upper bouts: 18.7 cm
Middle bouts: 13.1 cm
Lower bouts: 23.9 cm
