Violin: 49267
Back: in one piece of quarter cut maple with broad flame descending from the treble side. There is an original wing of the same maple added to the lower treble bout.
Top: in two pieces of spruce with grain of varying widths, broadening towards the edges.
Scroll: of plainer maple.
Ribs: of similar wood.
Varnish: of an orange reddish-brown colour.
Length of back: 35.4 cm
Upper bouts: 16.9 cm
Middle bouts: 11.55 cm
Lower bouts: 20.85 cm
