Labeled, "Carlo Tononi Bolognese, Fece in Venezia l'Ai 1733" and branded "Carlo Tononi" on the lower rib.
The Italian table probably later, the scroll by Sanctus Serafin.
A dendrochronology report from Peter Ratcliff states the latest ring on both sides dates from 1743.
Cross-matches with Deconet, Tecchler, Carlo Bergonzi, Guarneri del Gesu, Stradivari, Nicola Gagliano, Omobono Stradivari, etc.. on the bass side.
