Back: Two-piece of plain wood marked by a faint small curl, with original wings in the lower flanks and small wing in the bass side of the upper flank; there are remains of gilt initials, probably from a former owner

Top: of pine, with original wings added to the lower flanks and the top bass flank

Scroll: of wood similar to that used for the ribs

Ribs: of wood cut on the slab, marked by a small curl

Varnish: Red-brown


This instrument was for many years attributed to Carlo Bergonzi. It has been reduced in size.
