Notes:
"A 300-year-old Italian violin worth $425,000 was one of several musical instruments stolen from the Yonkers home of Masao Kawasaki, a world-class chamber musician and professor. . . . The stolen violin was a dark-brown instrument built around the turn of the 18th century by Pietro Giacomo Rogeri of Brescia, Italy. . . . Anyone with information about the crime or the location of the instruments is asked to call detectives at 914-377-7725."The Journal News | lohud.com | Westchester, Rockland, Putnam news
