Back: One-piece birdseye maple, slab-cut

Top: Two-piece, narrow-grained in the center, widening towards the edges

Scroll: of pear woof; carved lion's head

Varnish: Red-brown

Length of back: 39.8 cm

Upper bouts: 19.8 cm

Middle bouts: 13.4 cm

Lower bouts: 24 cm

On loan to the Smithsonian Institute till 2004.
