Back: Two-piece maple with flame slanting downward slightly from the center joint, purfling inscribed and painted

Top: of medium to broad grain

Scroll: plain maple

Ribs: of wood similar to back

Varnish: Orange-brown on a golden ground

Length of back: 35.1 cm

Upper bouts: 15.6 cm

Middle bouts: 10.8 cm

Lower bouts: 19.9 cm
