Notes:
"What I would particularly stress here, is that his violin was made by Andrea Guarneri in 1638, when he was but twelve years old! Seemingly incredible, even if it was produced under the direct supervision of his master. Modern scholarship suggests the actual date to be 1688 and not 1638 which is more appropriate to the style and quality of work.
