Notes:

Instrument #95 at the South Kensington Special Exhibition.

Catalogue of the Special Exhibition at South Kensington, England, Carl Engel, Catalogue of the Special Exhibition at South Kensington, England, London

"No. 95 is a roughish specimen of the same epoch, not so brilliant, but with its own charm. Here the gauge-marks of impatience are to be seen in the very border, and I should have expected to see the stiff-throated scroll, for it belongs to this form."

Biographical Notice of Nicolo Paganini

Listed as a 1734 instrument.

"According to a letter written by Desmond Hill in 1970, it was in the collection of Andrew Fountaine in 1856 and has an inscription to that effect on the interior of the table. "
