Faintly branded to the inside back, "Vuillaume." Inscribed to the inside back, "1256."
Back: in one piece of quarter cut maple with medium to broad-width flame ascending from the treble side.
Top: in one piece of spruce with medium-width grain broadening toward the bass side.
Ribs: and head of similar wood.
Varnish: of a reddish orange-brown color.
Length of back: 35.8 cm
Upper bouts: 16.9 cm
Middle bouts: 11.4 cm
Lower bouts: 20.8 cm
