Back: The back in two pieces of quarter cut maple with medium to broad-width mainly horizontal flame, with an original wing at the lower right bout.
Top: in two pieces of spruce with medium-width grain broadening towards the edges.
Scroll: of similar wood to the back.
Ribs: of plainer, semi-slab cut maple.
Varnish: of a reddish orange-brown color.
Length of back: 35.7 cm
Upper bouts: 16.8 cm
Middle bouts: 16.8 cm
Lower bouts: 20.6 cm
