Back: in one piece of attractive quarter sawn maple with pronounced narrow flame descending slightly from treble to bass.
Top: in two pieces of spruce with grain of narrow width.
Scroll: of plain maple.
Ribs: the upper ribs of similar wood to the back; the centre and lower bout ribs of plainer maple.
Varnish: of a golden brown colour.
Length of back: 35.4 cm
Upper bouts: 16.1 cm
Middle bouts: 10.8 cm
Lower bouts: 20.0 cm
