Back: in two pieces of quarter sawn maple with narrow horizontal flame prominent in the centre bouts.
Top: in two pieces of spruce with grain of narrow width widening to the edges.
Scroll: of irregularly flamed maple.
Ribs: of similar wood to the back.
Varnish: of an orange brown color over a deep golden ground.
Length of back: 35.8 cm
Upper bouts: 16.5 cm
Middle bouts: 11.5 cm
Lower bouts: 20.4 cm
