Also labelled, "Joseph Antonius Rocca, fecit Taurini, anno domini 1852" Branded to the inside back, upper and lower blocks and to the inside pegbox.
Back: in one piece of quarter cut maple with medium fine horizontal flame.
Top: in one piece of spruce with medium broad grain.
Scroll: of maple with medium broad flame.
Ribs: of similar wood.
Varnish: of an orange brown color.
Length of back: 35.6 cm
Upper bouts: 17.0 cm
Middle bouts: 11.4 cm
Lower bouts: 21.1 cm
