Bearing the W. E. Hill & Sons #4871 to the fingerboard. Rosewood fittings.
Back: in two pieces of quarter cut maple with faint, mostly horizontal, medium width flame.
Top: in two pieces of spruce with medium width grain broadening toward the edges.
Ribs: and head of similar wood.
Varnish: of an orange-brown color.
Length of back: 35.7 cm
Upper bouts: 16.7 cm
Middle bouts: 11.6 cm
Lower bouts: 20.7 cm
