"This violin was exhibited at an exhibition of English instruments arranged to commemorate the visit of the International Society of Violin and Bow Makers to London in June 1961, and later at the Banks Exhibition in Salisbury in 1989. It is illustrated in colour (Plate B) and in monochrome (Plate 5) in Benjamin Banks, The Salisbury Violin Maker, 1727-1795 by Albert W. Cooper"
