Showing the collaboration of Nicolo. Dimensions altered. Bearing a repair inscription from Joseph Hel in 1883. Some new rib sections. The head also from the Amati workshop but adapted from a viola da gamba.
Back: in two pieces of slab cut maple with medium horizontal flame.
Top: in two pieces of spruce with medium width grain broadening slightly toward the edges.
Scroll: of similar wood, adapted from a brothers Amati gamba.
Ribs: of similar wood.
Varnish: of a red brown color.
Length of back: 76.6 cm
Upper bouts: 36.3 cm
Middle bouts: 25.0 cm
Lower bouts: 45.1 cm
