Back: Two-piece cut on the slab
Top: two pieces of spruce of medium to fine grain on the treble side widening towards the edge; the bass side fine in the centre widening considerably towards the edge
Scroll: the head also by Stradivari but from an earlier period and replacing a previous replica attributed to George Chanot.
Varnish: revarnished.
