"The instrument has several outstanding features: precise yet bold craftsmanship combined with a massive size that is similar to violins made on the 'G' form used by Stradivari. The wider purfling and shallow fluting serve well to complement the sharp hooks to the corners and the elegant sweep of the sound holes."
