Back: in two pieces of maple cut on the quarter and with strong medium-width figure ascending from the centre joint
Top: in one piece of spruce with broad grain at the centre narrowing towards the flanks
Scroll: with stronger, narrower figure
Ribs: of wood similar to back
Varnish: an orange-brown colour on a golden ground
Length of back: 35.7 cm
Upper bouts: 16.9 cm
Lower bouts: 20.8 cm
