Modeling and arching are twin to the 'Hancock' of 1739.
Back: Two-piece with medium horizontal flames and original wings on the treble side
Top: of pine of wide and somewhat irregular grain
Scroll: of wood similar to back
Ribs: of wood similar to back
Varnish: Red garnet color, unpolished
Length of back: 74.2 cm
Upper bouts: 36.1 cm
Middle bouts: 25.2 cm
Lower bouts: 44.6 cm
