- Certificate: Emil Herrmann, New York, New York, NY (1926) #505. "The instrument is one of the few in existence and extremely well preserved. I never have seen a finer one. This violin was in the well known collection of old musical instruments of Dr. Salzer of Vienna for about the last fifty years."
