Back: in two pieces of quarter cut maple with narrow-width flame ascending slightly from the center seam. From the same log as several instruments by Antonio Stradivari made in the same year.
Top: in two pieces of spruce with narrow-width grain broadening toward the edges.
Scroll: of plainer maple.
Ribs: of similar wood.
Varnish: of a dark orange-brown color.
Length of back: 35.6 cm
Upper bouts: 16.8 cm
Middle bouts: 10.93 cm
Lower bouts: 20.75 cm
