Bearing its original label, "Antonio Stradivarius Cremonensis Faciebat Anno 1687."
The head by Stradivarius from the 1670 period. Excellent condition. The one piece back of handsome quarter cut maple of medium flames descending from treble to bass sides. The ribs of plainer maple. The head of quarter cut maple of narrow flames. The top of two pieces of spruce of medium grain. The varnish of an orange brown color over a golden ground. LOB 35.6 cm
