Notes:
"The "Pleeth" bears an original label 'Sotto la Disciplina d'Antonio Stradivari' dated 1732. Due to the heavier physical demands for the construction of cellos, the ageing Antonio was regularly aided by his sons and, in all probability, by another famous Cremonese maker, Carlo Bergonzi. The head of this particular cello is very much in the style of Bergonzi."I violoncelli di Antonio Stradivari, Bruce Carlson, I violoncelli di Antonio Stradivari, Cremona
