Bearing its original label, "Antonius Stradivarius Cremonensis Faciebat Anno 1725", the last two digits being handwritten.
Back: Two-piece, quarter-cut, displaying vigorous flaming that drops slightly to the outside; there is an almond-shaped inset in the lower part of the center joint
Top: Two matching pieces; there is a knot near the upper corner on the bass side
Scroll: of heavily flamed wood
Ribs: of wood matching back, more widely flamed
Varnish: Reddish-brown over a golden-yellow base
Length of back: 35.3 cm
Upper bouts: 16.1 cm
Middle bouts: 10.9 cm
Lower bouts: 20.2 cm
