Notes:
"The first recorded owner of the 'Tullaye' was the Vicomtesse de la Tullaye. We are aware that a Monsieur le Boulet of Versailles sold the violin to the distinguished dealers William Ebsworth Hill & Sons in 1897 but we are not certain as to when he himself came to own it." – Alessandra BarabaschiAntonius Stradivarius (Volumes I-IV), Jost Thöne, Jan Röhrmann, Alessandra Barabaschi, Jost Thöne, Jan Röhrmann, Alessandra Barabaschi, Antonius Stradivarius (Volumes I-IV), Cologne
