Son and pupil of William Heinrich Moennig. Moved to Germany to study in Markneukirchen and at the Mittenwald School of Violin Making. Returned to the US, but concentrated on teaching violin making and repair at the Blair School of Music. Succeeded by his son William III. Label: 'William H.
