George Gemünder II
Violin maker
(1859 – 1915)
Son of George Gemünder I and known as George Jr. He was working with his father by the 1870s, became a partner in the firm in 1882 and took over on his father’s death in 1899.
His violins show many characteristics of his father’s style, though they are not quite as rich or elegant.
