Anton Fischer II
Violin maker
–
Various models exhibited a distinctly Italianate style but lacked some overall finish. The centre bouts featured awkwardly tight curves at both ends. Stradivarian soundholes had slightly undersized circles. A sturdy head with a very constricted throat characterized the instruments. They were finished with a golden-yellow varnish and were well appreciated.
